وقتی که من شروع به خوردن بانکوک من تا به حال جاه طلبی های بزرگ برای آوردن غذا از تایلند به زندگی برای شما. After all, we would be living in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, and what better place to discover all the great foods the country has to offer.
Well, reality reared it’s ugly head once we arrived and I found that my dreams would have to be put on hold. The truth of the matter is I simply cannot do justice to this site right now for one reason:
That’s my daughter and she’s 17 months old. Needless to say she’s a full time job herself and that job has become mine. That by itself wouldn’t stop me, but it seems that going out to eat isn’t high on the list of priorities for a 17 month old…go figure.
So Eating Bangkok is currently in hibernation.
That’s not to say I haven’t been busy though. In addition to my love of food I also have a huge love of travel and I’ve found a way to share that love with the world right from the comfort of home. Call it a museum of travel vicariousness, but I call it TravelPizza.
Please take a moment to click over and grab yourself a slice of the world there. I hope you’ll enjoy the sights as much as I’m enjoying curating the site. I’ve been learning about quite a few new places to add to my travel list and rediscovering some old favorites as well.
Don’t mourn Eating Bangkok though. All the recipes will stay here and eventually my daughter will go to school and will maybe even enjoy going out to eat. We have no plans on leaving Bangkok so once that day comes this site will awaken with a huge yawn and you’ll be able to experience the deliciousness of Bangkok together with us.
